The GRDC has traditionally invited applications for its Training Awards in October each year to encourage students in disciplines that contribute to the RD&E priorities of the Australian grains industry.
The GRDC is currently reviewing this process to ensure it is efficient and effectively delivering a highly skilled and motivated workforce, including growers, advisers, researchers and managers.
In light of this review the GRDC will not be inviting applications in 2015 for:
- Grains Industry Research Scholarships (GRS)
- Grains Industry Undergraduate Honours Scholarships (UHS)
The GRDC will invite applications in 2016 when the review of the program is completed. Application guidelines and forms, closing dates, categories of support, conditions, selections criteria, reporting and payment arrangements will be detailed on this web page when this process is complete.
Students successful in securing a base scholarship in 2015 such as an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or equivalent are encouraged to apply for the above scholarships in 2016.
