Tramlines more user friendly

The use of marker arms or electronic guidance this season has proven more user friendly than many farmers might have expected with the evolution of tramline farming or controlled traffic. Research estimates are showing the use of electronic autosteer, instead of mechanical guidance, may increase the estimated yield benefit by up to 7 per cent in the first season. As little as 500 hectares of wheat crop, grown in a tramline farming system, will pay for the cost of one marker arm, when fuzzy tramlines are used on any soil type.
