Russian wheat aphid incursion in SA

Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) is currently responding to detections of Russian wheat aphid (Diuraphis noxia) in cereal crops in South Australia’s Mid North region. 

Damage symptoms include a noticeable loss of green colouration across the crop, and on closer inspection, stunted plant growth and loss of vigour.
