Southern region grain growers looking for guidance on getting the best results from precision agriculture (PA) technologies can now access the latest industry information. A comprehensive PA publication has just been released by
SPAA Precision Agriculture Australia with the support of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). PA in Practice II details how PA can be used at various stages of the winter grains cropping cycle. It includes technical articles from leading PA specialists, case studies on growers from the southern grains region and trial results which highlight how PA is helping to maximise returns while controlling input costs. An extensive listing of PA service providers, web sites and online resources is also included. The new book is an update to the popular PA in Practice publication released in 2008 and it revisits a number of farmers who continue to share their PA journey. The book is available for sale for $20 plus postage and handling. More information and order forms are available from SPAA via www.spaa.com.au/news.php or phone 0437 422 000.
