Growers are invited to catch up with GRDC staff and regional panellists in the GRDC marquee at coming field days.
The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) will have a strong presence at coming agricultural field days in Western Australia, with key personnel available to speak with growers about their production issues.
GRDC staff and Western Regional Panel members will be on hand in the GRDC marquee at the Mingenew Lions Midwest Expo, Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days and Newdegate Machinery Field Days.
Pulses will be featured in the GRDC display, with staff members available to discuss their benefits, and the latest resources will be available addressing other key priority issues in the region - including weed management, frost mitigation and the management of soil constraints.
The GRDC will again partner with one of its key research providers – the Curtin University-based Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) - with CCDM staff in attendance to provide information on fungicide resistance and important wheat, barley, canola and pulse diseases.
The GRDC plans and invests in RD&E for the Australian grains industry. Its primary objective is to drive the discovery, development and delivery of world-class innovation to enhance the productivity, profitability and sustainability of Australian grain growers and benefit the industry and the wider community.
