Wild oats has been a consistent and ongoing problem weed in winter cropping in the northern region for many years. Growers who are focused on elimination of seed returning to the soil have been able to drive down the seedbank over time, resulting in low numbers in many paddocks. However widespread resistance to a range of post-emergent herbicides is now making control difficult in many paddocks.
This webinar will continue to build on the library of previous webinars focusing on key problem weeds. We will address the ecology of wild oats, the latest on herbicide resistance and discuss how we can use this information to develop effective management strategies.
