GRDC Grower Networks: Transition 2021-22
The GRDC National Grower Network (NGN) operates nationally across five port zones in the Western Region, three rainfall zones in the Southern Region and six subregional zones in the Northern Region.
From July 2021, GRDC is making some changes to its approach to applied RD&E which involves the way we work with the Grower Network members.
As we move towards a more community-based approach from the current membership model over the coming year, we want members to still play a lead role in bringing issues and opportunities from their region to the table for discussion.
The transition from the membership to community model will take 12 months and different regions may move at different speeds depending on their current NGN structures.
What matters most is delivering a timely, effective RD&E response where it’s needed, when it’s needed, wherever possible.
