Guest Speaker: Tom Robinson (past SANTFA President; strip & disc farmer)
South Australia’s Mid-North grower Tom and his father Ashley were one of the first to try the strip & disc system in South Australia and have been the go-to farmers for those wanting to move into that system. Tom has travelled several times to the USA for conferences looking at farming systems, and uses a full zero till system and is now including summer cover crops in his farming system. Catch up with Tom to chat about the reasons why he moved into this system, and some of the challenges he faced.
