Come along for a crop walk and hear from some leading researchers on Canola pests in your region.

You will learn about pest identification, monitoring methods, population dynamics, pest lifecycles, damage symptoms, management strategies and economic thresholds. The crop walk will be a great opportunity to see how this year’s seasonal conditions, crop residue and soil conditions are influencing what pests we are seeing this season. Hear what management strategies have been implemented and how effective they have been.

Guest speakers will be Phil Bowden from Bowden Rural Services, speaking about all things related to Canola insects and Don McCaffery speaking about canola varieties for grain and grazing.
