SADGA/MacKillop South East/ Vic Durum Crop (Wolseley)
The Southern Australia Durum Growers Association (SADGA) and the MacKillop Farm Management Group (MFMG) invite you to attend our first Combined Crop Walk Wednesday Oct 9, to hear from researchers and visit the various project trials starting at Wolseley and Kaniva. The Cropwalk will commence at 12 noon (SA Time) for Ag Bureau lunch at the Wolseley Community Centre. Maps will be available from the SADGA website.
Information about trials, research and technology will be delivered by Adam Hancock of Elders Naracoorte and Amanda Pearce of SARDI, Dr Jason Able, Dr Hugh Wallwork and Rob Harris of AGT and Malinda Watson of Eurofins and they will cover the variety of topics which include:
- Release of 3 New Durum Varieties
- MFMG Elders Oats Trial
- Durum, Crown Rot and GRDC Barley Malt Flavour Trials
- NVT Site Inspection
- Uni of Adelaide New Variety, S1-S4 Durum Trials and Sakura Trials
- Eurofins Canola Trial
- The new Seed Terminator fitted to JDS670 Harvester
Attendees are welcome to join Researchers, Sponsors and the SADGA Committee for BBQ tea and refreshments following the crop walk at the Dyers Farm Shed from 5 pm.
