A detailed manual on precision agriculture is the latest addition to the revamped Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) website,

Tom McCue, GRDC manager extension and grower programs said growers and advisers can use the manual to design onfarm experiments and research standards for electromagnetic induction mapping in the grains industry.

“The manual is an invaluable resource for growers already using precision agriculture technology and is the best place to start for those considering PA,” Mr McCue said.

“It also takes an indepth look at measuring and managing crop growing variability, including soil type, texture, structure and depth, moisture and nutrient chemistry.”
