The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has released a new fact sheet to assist grain growers in their recruitment and induction of new employees.
The Farm Labour Fact Sheet provides important information to support growers when employing a new staff member. It covers the recruitment, interviewing and final selection processes, remuneration and employment agreements, induction, probationary period and review, workplace health and safety, workers’ compensation and record keeping. The fact sheet also includes links to other useful resources.
