Spotlight on summer grains

The five grains of summer – maize, soybean, sorghum, sunflower and mungbeans – will again be the focus of the Australian Summer Grains Conference (ASGC) when the 2013 event takes place from 17-19 June.
The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) is helping connect growers and scientists with the latest thinking and research in summer grains with its support and sponsorship of ASGC.
Keith Perrett, GRDC chair will open the conference proceedings which features a broad range of GRDC-supported research and speakers including GRDC northern panellist and NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW) agronomist, Loretta Serafin.
