The Central Queensland Cropping Solutions Group (CQCSC) is running its twice yearly roadshow in July with a focus on difficult-to-control weeds.

The roadshow will feature the latest research supported by the Grains Research and Development (GRDC) for the region.

It will focus on weed-management issues including:

  • feathertop Rhodes grass issues in CQ;
  • herbicide application rates and double-knock strategies for grass-weed control; and
  • application rates.

The roadshow kicks off in Kilcummin on 22 July, with eight meetings across the region, finishing up in Biloela on 26 July.

Full details are available on the GRDC website, www.grdc.com.au/events.
