Farmers can hear the latest grains research news on-the-go with Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC) audio podcasts now available.
James Clark, GRDC northern panel chair says the suite of audio products will meet the needs of growers who spend long hours in tractors and other farm vehicles.
“We have responded to growers who like to have information presented in a range of formats, including podcasts that flag current issues and emerging research and development solutions,” Mr Clark says.
“Staying informed has become easier and that augurs well for the uptake of new technologies.”
GRDC’s long running weekly program Driving Agronomy, which features interviews with top researchers, agronomists and advisers, is available, along with several new podcasts.
Ground Cover Radio is an audio version of the popular Ground Cover newspaper.
“This podcast features around 30 stories sourced from the most recent edition and is available at about the same time as when the newspaper hits letter boxes,” Mr Clark says.
Ground Cover Northern Region Weekly Updates focuses on grain-related events coming up in the region, current news, and a regionally focused feature interview.
