Make better summer fallow decisions workshop

Growers, advisors and industry representatives interested in the latest information and advice on summer fallow management are invited to a series of short talks and demonstrations being held across Queensland and New South Wales.
The workshops presented by Nufarm consultant Bill Gordon and the Nufarm and Croplands team, utlising Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) support materials, aim to assist growers and advisors make better summer fallow management decisions.
Topics covered will include sprayer set up and operation for efficacy and drift reduction, product choices for summer weeds, decontamination and other relevant issues. A question and answer session will also be held with a panel of industry experts.
Workshops will be held in the following towns:
- Dalby, Tuesday Nov 15, Dalby Agricultural College
- Goondiwindi, Thursday Nov 17, Goondiwindi Showgrounds
- Bellata, Tuesday Nov 22, Bellata Golf Club
- Gunnedah, Wednesday Nov 23, Agquip Site
- Warren, Thursday Nov 24, “Whalboy” Corinda Rd, Warren
- Griffith, Tuesday Nov 29, TBA.
