The Rock GRDC Research Update

Growers and agronomists from around southern New South Wales will be heading to The Rock this week to hear the very latest in grains research, business insights and tips on how to use the latest technology from senior researchers and grains experts.
The Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC) research investments will be showcased this Thursday 15 March, as part of the one-day GRDC Grains Research Update. Researchers from NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) CSIRO, SARDI and private consultancies will expand on their work, and how it can be applied in the paddock.
Highlights include keynote speakers addressing the impact of stubble on nitrogen tie-up and supply, critical agronomy management for optimal canola growth, refining nitrogen and phosphorus application, inoculant survival on acid soils, and better management of pastures to ensure suite of benefits passed onto crops in following years.
