Launceston Farm Business Update

Leading economist and financial commentator Saul Eslake will headline a Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) Farm Business Update in Tasmania in August.
Mr Eslake will discuss the local, national and global economic outlook and the implications for Tasmanian farm businesses. Other keynote speakers will address topics such as the key drivers of profit in farming systems, enterprise expansion, effective business structures and business and personal resilience.
A highlight of the forum will be a presentation by Phil Eldridge of Afterburn who will advise how the principles of fighter pilots can be applied to business management.
The GRDC’s Farm Business Updates are designed to foster a greater understanding of the various facets of farm business management.
