The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has announced the dates and location for its key event for southern and central New South Wales advisers in 2015. The annual Grains Research Update will be in Wagga Wagga on February 17 and 18. To be held at Charles Sturt University, the Update will focus on those significant cropping issues expected to confront grain growers next season and beyond.
GRDC Southern Regional Panel chair Keith Pengilley says the program for the Update is being developed by a planning committee in consultation with a broad network of grains industry representatives, ensuring the topics will be relevant and timely. “Advisers attending the Update will be informed about the latest research outcomes and technologies so they can support their grain-growing clients in their quest to improve their farming systems and boost profitability,” Mr Pengilley said.
