WA growers and advisers are encouraged to register for the upcoming GRDC Grains Research Update events being held in Perth and at several regional locations.
The updates feature a line-up of top speakers delivering the latest western region grains research results, along with insights into global industry innovations and trends.

The GRDC Grains Research Update, Perth – formerly known as the WA Agribusiness Crop Updates - is scheduled for Monday February 29 and Tuesday March 1 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It will be followed by regional GRDC Grains Research Updates in Yuna on March 2, Katanning on March 8 and Merredin on March 9.
More than 50 presentations have been programmed for the two-day Perth update, including a GRDC ‘backchat’ question and answer session with GRDC Western Regional Panel members and GRDC staff.
The Grains Research Update, Perth will include an agronomist and adviser capacity building workshop and a technology forum about autonomous vehicles and new age grain machinery.
There will also be extended focus sessions about making the most out of early sowing opportunities, managing frost, dealing with fungal diseases and developments in pulses.
Networking opportunities include a sundowner hosted by CBH Group and a breakfast hosted by the Grains Industry Association of WA’s (GIWA) Australian Grain Institute council.
The consolidated one-day regional Grains Research Updates provide access to the best presenters at the cutting edge of research and presentations that are of most value to growers in that specific port zone.
