More than 50 presentations have been programmed for the two-day Perth update, including a GRDC ‘backchat’ question and answer session with GRDC Western Regional Panel members and GRDC staff.

The Grains Research Update, Perth will include an agronomist and adviser capacity building workshop and a technology forum about autonomous vehicles and new age grain machinery.

There will also be extended focus sessions about making the most out of early sowing opportunities, managing frost, dealing with fungal diseases and developments in pulses.

Networking opportunities include a sundowner hosted by CBH Group and a breakfast hosted by the Grains Industry Association of WA’s (GIWA) Australian Grain Institute council.

The consolidated one-day regional Grains Research Updates provide access to the best presenters at the cutting edge of research and presentations that are of most value to growers in that specific port zone.

The event coordinator for the GRDC Grains Research Updates is GIWA and further information is available from Rachel Nash by email or on 08 6262 2128.
