Scholarship offers WA grain growers a unique opportunity

The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) and Nuffield Australia have again banded together to offer grain growers a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to further their professional knowledge and expertise. Growers in Western Australia can now apply for a GRDC-funded 2017 Nuffield Scholarship which provides a $30,000 bursary to the successful applicant to study a topic relevant to their business and industry.

It incorporates a Contemporary Scholars Conference, Global Focus Program and individual study program encompassing 16 weeks over two years with flexibility provided. Nuffield Scholarships have helped spearhead industry evolution and development over the past 60 years, encouraging 'out of the box' thinking to overcome challenges, harness opportunities and explore new frontiers in agricultural production, business, logistics and environmental management.

Applications for the 2017 round of scholarships are currently open and will be received until June 30, 2016. The scholarship application form and more information can be viewed on the Nuffield Australia website.
