Consultancy Services are required for the following: Update Paper Approvals - GRDC Grains Research Updates (ICN00021) Due 10 July 2017. Assess and approve for publication 24 update papers for the 2017 Northern update series, by 10 July. Notify the GRDC in writing of any papers that are unsuitable for publication and reasons why. Email approval notification to Erica McKay, ICAN, with a cc: to Jan Edwards (Senior Regional Manager, North). An email needs to be sent to Julian Fox (Webmaster) with a cc: to Jan Edwards (Senior Regional Manager, North) that approval is granted. Identify, assess and where appropriate approve the publication of any unpublished papers for past Updates spanning the period 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017. Final Project Reports Due 31 July 2017 Read and assess the Final Reports/Final Technical Reports for projects: - SFS00022 Pastures in crop sequencing for the high rainfall zone of Southern Australia - BWD00021 MPCN II - extension and training (Southern Region) - CRF00002 Coordination and extension of the "Improved management of soil organic matter for profitable and sustainable cropping" - DAQ00182 Extension (North) for "Improved management of soil organic matter for profitable and sustainable cropping" - EPF00002-A: Panel Deed Work Order - Validation of real time soil nitrate using ion exchange technology - RDP00013: The integration of technical data and profit drivers for more informed decisions Provide written advice to Craig Ruchs (Senior Regional Manager, South) on either: - Which projects have satisfactorily met their milestones and submitted a satisfactory final report - What the projects need to do to meet their milestones and/or submit a satisfactory final report. Provide a draft letter of feedback for GRDC review and approval. Liaise with suppliers as directed by GRDC to clarify requested editorial changes and verify their incorporation in final reports. Provide written advice to Maureen Cribb (Manager, Integrated Publishing) on approvals provided, and distribution and promotion plans for reviewed Northern and Southern region final reports. Read and assess other final reports as directed and within timeframes agreed with GRDC's Senior Regional Manager, South or Senior Regional Manager, North. General Project Management - GRDC Grains Research and Farm Business Updates Temporary management and monitoring of performance to ensure the successful delivery of the following contracts: - ORM00014 GRDC Research Updates - Southern Region - ORM00015 GRDC Farm Business Updates - Southern Region - ORM00017 GRDC Farm Business Updates Western Region - ICN00021 GRDC Research Updates - Northern Region - ORM00013 GRDC Business Updates - Northern Region Update programs: Review and where appropriate approve. Update papers: - Review and where appropriate approve papers for GRDC Updates in 2017/18. - Identify, assess and where appropriate approve the publication of any unpublished papers for past Updates spanning the period 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017. Periodic reporting: Review and provide the GRDC with a written update on their performance against outputs and milestones. To act as the primary contact for all project related enquiries for the above Update Contracts - whilst ensuring GRDC provides final sign-off based upon recommendations provided. Notify the GRDC in writing of any problems in relation to the projects that need addressing and suggested actions. General Project Management - IWM extension Northern region (ICN00016) Monitor the performance of the contract. Review and approve quarterly reporting. Provide the GRDC with a written update on their performance against outputs and milestones. - Notify the GRDC in writing of any problems in relation to the projects that need addressing and suggested actions.
