Keep rotations going

Farmers shouldn't abandon their proven rotations and swing to cereals to profit from anticipated high prices, according to Agriculture Victoria researcher Rob Sonogan.

Speaking to a GRDC-sponsored research update seminar in Walpeup, Mr Sonogan urged growers to work through their gross margins for 1996 carefully, and remember to plan beyond 1996 when sound cropping rotations would still have to be adopted.
