Hands on noodle making

Seven wheatgrowers from WA, SA, Victoria and NSW completed a GRDC-supported Asian Wheat Uses course in Singapore in August. It included hands-on noodle-making. Although none of the growers is likely to swap a farm for a noodle factory, they all enjoyed learning the intricacies of an ancient art and how Australian wheat fits into the very competitive Southeast Asian flour market.
