Update: how to get a copy of Variety Selector

A new national computer database gives growers and their advisers an edge in choosing the best crop varieties, for their conditions and locations.

Variety Selector provides convenient access to information on 500 grain varieties, from 1,200 test sites and about 5,000 trials, from across the country. The database was developed by the Australian Crop Accreditation System Limited (ACAS) and supported by the GRDC, the Seed Industry Association of Australi a, Grains Council of Australia and the Plant Industries. Variety Selector was prall led in Ground Cover 36 and will enable growers to see how crop varieties perform in similar environments to their own, and relative to other varieties.
