Queensland growers and agronomists are invited to join this dynamic workshop hosted by the Australian Fungicide Resistance Extension Network (AFREN) focusing on the critical issue of fungicide resistance in Queensland. Delve into expert insights and discussions on best management practices that are shaping the future of the Australian grains industry.

Facilitated by Paul McIntosh from Pulse Australia, and in collaboration with the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) Centre for Crop Health and featuring expertise from the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF), this workshop will spotlight fungicide resistance challenges in mungbean and barley.

Located at 'Tangalooma'– Gwynne family farm near Formartin.

  • This workshop will provide updates on the impact of root-lesion nematode (P. thornei) and potential new variety releases in mungbean and tackling fungicide resistance in mungbean and barley.
