Description

CCA is pleased to announce the details of the annual CCA Early Career Workshop as part of the GRDC / CRDC co-funded Early Career Project.

CCA has collaborated with members who are in the early stages of their careers to create an agenda that caters to their current needs and interests. This workshop is specifically designed for those who are just starting out in their careers to learn, network, ask questions, and potentially make lifelong professional and personal friendships.

If you are a consultant, a researcher, or a broader industry member who is just starting out - this workshop is for you.

Join experienced ag leadership and HR consultant Bec Fing for a day of working on your 'soft skills' - those things that they don't teach you at uni but are vital in the workplace including:

Understanding your client.

Being an effective team member / employee.

Developing your support network, and surviving and thriving in rural communities.

This workshop will demonstrate through real-life examples and take-home tools, how you can bring your best teamwork, communication and leadership skills to your workplace and community. Hear also from experienced consultants, local employers and interstate employers.
