Surveys and associated diagnostics of the incidence and severity of diseases of cereals and pulses within the Northern Region
This project aims to enhance partnerships with industry and state and federal agencies to provide disease surveillance and related diagnostic capacity in major production areas of the GRDC's Northern Region. In-paddock disease surveillance will provide quantitative and longitudinal data on disease incidence and severity. This will assist in informing disease priorities and support disease management strategies for cereals and pulses for this region. Biosecurity surveillance for high priority grains diseases in the Northern Region will strengthen preparedness for potential incursions and provide data for area freedom.
