Australian Grains Genebank Strategic Partnership 2022-2027
The Australian Grains Genebank (AGG) Strategic Partnership has been established between GRDC and Agriculture Victoria (AV) within the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR).
Administration of the Partnership and delivery on the research and innovation objectives is led by Agriculture Victoria Research (AVR).
The overall objective for the AGG Strategic Partnership is to unlock the genetic potential of the Australian Grains Genebank (AGG) to accelerate cereal, oilseed, and pulse crop improvement for the benefit of Australian grain growers.
The AGG Strategic Partnership will be delivered through three complementary and highly integrated Programs and underpinned by capacity building through higher degree research.
Program 1: Transform the AGG value proposition through digital and genomic innovation
Program 2: Strengthen core AGG operational functions
Program 3: Leveraging additional investment to expand AGG infrastructure
