Crop Safety Field Studies - Prosulfocarb Oats
Grass weed control remains problematic for oat production.
Crop Safety and efficacy trials conducted by ADAMA, has demonstrated that Countdown Herbicide (prosulfocarb 800 gai/L) can be safely used in oats when applied Incorporated By Sowing (IBS).
The registration of prosulfocarb will provide a new mode of action for use during oat production for the control of annual grass weeds including Annual Ryegrass.
GRDC is co-investing with ADAMA to evaluate the potential use of prosulfocarb for the control of annual grass weeds in Oats and generation of the required data package in support of an APVMA registration for such a use.
