This project is Program 2 of five programs under the barley Net Blotch Consortium (NBC). The project will look to continue and build on activities, knowledge, resources, and expertise developed as part of the UOQ2005-012RTX, with a goal of delivering a comprehensive one-stop online knowledge-base and web-based toolkit for containing barley resistance haplotype catalogue, pathogen related resources, and breeding simulation virtual toolkits for rapid, bespoke, and effective adoption of genetic resistant sources to generate new high yielding barley cultivars with excellent resistance to net blotches [and scald].
