The order in which you mix chemical products is very important. This fact sheet shows how to mix products to retain the efficacy and stability of the tank mix.

Key points

• Understand each product’s formulation type (including adjuvants). Many suppliers are now adding the 2-letter code to the front panel of product labels (See Table 1 in the fact sheet)
• Never bring concentrated products into contact with each other through mixing equipment or in low tank volumes
• Know the correct mixing order for every tank mix you use. Table 3 in the fact sheet provides a typical mixing order for the most common formulations.
