Boosting diagnostics for plant production industries (extension component)

AUSVEG will focus on user needs, on-farm triage, extension and communication services to industry networks to integrate them into the national diagnostic network and will leverage learnings from its extension on IMapPESTS. Accurate and timely on-farm triage, report and delivery to diagnostics laboratories is vital to the success of this project and AUSVEG aims to facilitate this with industry and other relevant stakeholders.We will increase awareness of selected NPPPs, support the development of diagnostic blitzes and training for on-the-ground personnel to be delivered to key end-users and their associated industry networks.We will work with all the key project partners, RDCs and the IMapPESTS team to ensure that duplications of effort are avoided and that the key messaging and communications materials, being developed by cesar, are delivered to the target audiences.
