Expansion of Soybeans in high rainfall zones in Coastal QLD
This investment aims to support grain growers to increase production of soybeans in the high rainfall Coastal and Hinterland regions of QLD.
Research, development and extension activities conducted will seek to optimise the production and reliability of soybean yield for both existing and new growers in emerging production areas. This investment will also identify the key agronomic practice and future opportunities required for the sustainable growth in the Australian soybean industry.
The impact of this investment will be measured at both an industry level by monitoring total soybean production (t) and productivity at a paddock level (t/ha).
