Integrated disease management strategies for southern region cereal and pulse growers
This project aims to provide pathology support to the GRDC's Southern Region's cropping industry using a multi-faceted approach through evaluation of disease management strategies and surveys for disease incidence and severity. Disease management research will focus on yellow spot in wheat, and net form of net blotch in barley, viruses in cereals and pulse crops and fungal diseases of pulses. In addition, to assist growers minimise the impact of disease on crop production, extension of information of regionally relevant disease management messages will be undertaken.
