Expansion of Soybean in high rainfall zones in Northern NSW
This investment aims to support grain growers to increase production of soybean in the high rainfall Coastal and Tableland regions of northern NSW.
Research, development and extension activities conducted will seek to optimise the production and reliability of soybean yield for both existing and new growers in emerging production areas. This investment will also identify the key agronomic practice and future opportunities required for the sustainable growth in the Australian soybean industry.
The impact of this investment will be measured at both an industry level by monitoring total soybean production (t) and productivity at a paddock level (t/ha).
