Horizon Scholarships support the next generation of agricultural leaders who will take up the challenge of farming for the future. GRDC sponsors undergraduates in the program who are passionate about agriculture and are interested in contributing to the Australian grains industry's success. We want to enhance growers' and future RD&E professionals skills, knowledge and connections to drive innovation in the grains industry. The scholarship offers:
A bursary of $5000 per year for the final two years of a degree
Professional development workshops
Annual industry work placements aligned with the grains industry
Opportunities to network and gain knowledge at a range of industry events
