National Variety Trials

(logo) National Variety Trials: A GRDC Initiative

The NVT Program

NVT Online provides access to independent results on the performance of recently released grain and field crop varieties. It is a national program of comparative crop variety testing with standardised trial management, data generation, collection and dissemination. This is managed through an internet accessed database that ensures a common approach and uniformity across the system.

The NVT Online Website

The NVT Online website is the delivery method for the NVT program. It is a website that draws upon reports and tables generated from the NVT database. The Google Map delivery system enables all crop specific information (including trial results, sowing guides, End Point Royalty, etc) for an entire state to be delivered to the user at a “Site Near You”.

Crops tested are:

Wheat; Barley; Canola; Chickpea; Faba Bean; Field Pea; Lentil; Lupin; Oat and Triticale.
