GRDC National Grower Network Forum – Salmon Gums
You’re invited to attend the free-of-charge GRDC National Grower Network (NGN) Forum in Salmon Gums on Thursday 18 August. It’s your opportunity to meet face to face with GRDC staff and Western Panel members to provide direct input into future research and development that will benefit your local area.
At 2pm, one hour prior to the forum, special guest speaker Steve Henry, CSIRO rodent management scientist, will speak on mice management tips and advice.
At the forum, hear research presentations, with special guests Luke Marquis from South East Agronomy, discussing long coleoptile research and Tom Edwards from DPRID, who will discuss measuring on-farm emissions.
The forum will be led by GRDC Grower Relations Managers Lizzie von Perger and Jo Wheeler, who will provide insight into current research and extension projects in the local area.
During a facilitated workshop session, the NGN Forum will gather grassroots input into GRDC’s investment plans by capturing issues and constraints facing local growers. Opportunities will then be prioritised by participants for local GRDC research, development and extension support.
Later, join the speakers and GRDC staff and panel for free refreshments and dinner. Families are more than welcome. If able, please bring your laptop or tablet for use during the session. Some devices will be provided for those that can’t.
