Spring Field Day - Bundalong

Far Australia invites you to attend our Bundalong Spring Field Day where we will showcase a range of GRDC investments including:

• Development and extension to close the economic yield gap and maximise farming systems benefits from grain legume production in Victoria
• Validation of organic fertiliser sources for crop nutrition in NE Victoria.

Come and inspect a variety of research trials where topics of discussion will include:

• Faba bean disease management – varieties and fungicide strategies
• Nutritional needs for high yielding faba beans – Additional nitrogen and phosphorus as well as manures and trace elements. Can we make up for poor biological activity?
• Canopy management strategies for high yielding faba beans – Seeding rates and plant growth regulators.
• Benefits of animal manures to maintain a fertile farming system.

The morning will start at 8:30am with breakfast on site and will conclude at 11:30am.
