This meeting will introduce a new 2-year GRDC funded project which aims to better understand regional weed issues and provide timely results on field trials conducted on those weeds.

Agenda

  • Introduction to the NGN project – ‘Developing control strategies for key problem weeds for SE QLD’ – Paul Castor MCA Agronomy
  • Plans for project roll out – Brendan Burton
  • Attendees will be asked to raise and discuss their key SUMMER weed issues which require improved management solutions
  • Attendees will also be asked to prioritise the weed issues raised during the session for field trial work over 2024-25
  • Lawrie Price from NGA will also present data from their 2023-24 trial program.
