Wheat Northern Region - GrowNotes™

The northern grains region is the largest Australian source of premium, hard, high-protein wheat for export and domestic use. Demand for feed grain from the region's livestock industry is a key driver of grain production. In Queensland, on average 80,000 ha is sown to wheat annually with about half destined for the export market and the a quarter each for domestic milling and for the feed grain industry.
